The raising of the dead son in Nain.

11 And it happened in the following time that he journeyed into a city called Nain, and his disciples and a large crowd were journeying with him. 12 But when he got near the gate of the city, behold, one who had died, the only begotten son of his mother, was being carried out, and she was a widow, and a sufficient crowd from the city was with her. 13 And the Lord saw her and felt compassion for her and said to her: Do not weep. 14 And he came toward the coffin and touched it, and those moving it stood still, and he said: Young man, I say to you, arise. 15 And the dead man sat up and began to speak, and he gave him to his mother. 16 But fear took hold of all, and they glorified God, saying: A great prophet has arisen among us, and: God visited his people. 17 And this word went out concerning him in the whole of Judea and in all the region.
