Character set options.

The keymap for Hebrew follows, with only a couple of alterations, the Michigan-Claremont standard.

Option 1. All consonants, vowels, diacritical marks, and punctuation are available.
Option 2. Only consonants, vowels, and diacritical marks are available.
Option 3. Only consonants, punctuation, and diacritical marks are available.
Option 4. Only consonants and punctuation, plus the maqaf (־), are available.

Consonants.

Five of the Hebrew consonants have final forms, produced by typing the upper case of that consonant. For the other consonants both a lowercase and an uppercase entry will give the same Hebrew consonant, since there is no upper case or lower case in that language.
